Office for iOS will be released no earlier than autumn 2014

The software package Microsoft Office for iOS operating system is in development, but users will have to wait at least another year before the new products will be available, Reports ZDnet, citing sources in the Redmond company. It is reported that the mobile version of Office will go to the family of Microsoft code-named Gemini.

Earlier, there is evidence that it is within the Gemini software giant plans to develop future versions of Office. If a document with an internal Microsoft roadmap is valid, then the Microsoft Office suite will be available on iPhone, iPad, and Android-powered devices until the fall of 2014.

First of office for the iOS in Microsoft unofficially started talking last year and then it was reported that he will be released in March 2013 for iOS and May - for Android. Redmond, these data do not officially commented informally sources only periodically confirmed that work on the Office for iOS, Android and Windows Phone is.

It is obvious that such disparate product data support the view that Microsoft itself has not yet decided on what foods, when they are released. Now, however, most sources agreed on the fact that this year the wait for the mobile versions of Office just not worth it.

Analysts believe that Microsoft does not receive income from the sales of the software package Office 2013, since it has not released its version for mobile devices Apple. It cost the Redmond company several billion dollars. It is believed that the corporation's management to think about it and calculates the amount of damages, but the desire to keep it all the time as part of the Office exclusively personal computers (this does not include tablets) took over.
