LS Climacons: nice theme for lock screen iPhone [Jailbreak]

Apple from release to release of its mobile operating system ignores the possibility of customizing the appearance of the lock screen. But this screen - the very first thing a user sees when you turn your device. And often it is a shame that the standard means you can not change the appearance of this part of the iOS.

For such cases, and there is a great thing called jailbreak. Below, we suggest you use it to replace the boring lock screen iOS for a more pleasant and stylish.

So, let's begin.

How to replace the lock screen iPhone:

Step 1 : Download the free app Winterboard. Any customized lock screen requires this package on the device. You can download it from Cydia. Winterboard itself is a powerful engine of themes, which, moreover, is also economical in terms of memory consumption of the device (only if you have not started a lot of topics at once). Designed by the creator of Cydia Jay Freeman «Saurik».

Step 2 : Download the package from Cydia Lock screen Clock Hide (also free). This tweak hides the standard lock screen clock and translucent background. You can configure this tweak after installation in a standard application settings in the section «tweaks».

Step 3 : Download any file manager for Mac and Windows with support for SSH or iFile from Cydia. We'll use one of these applications to change the image file and the location for the weather.

Step 4 : This step will be more complicated than the previous. The idea is that you should have to open Cydia and download the required lock screen, as is usually done. But it happened that a package we want LS Climacons in Cydia not. So you need to download the files manually. There are two themes - light and dark: LS Climacons Light ( link to download ) and LS Climacons Dark ( link to download ).

Step 5 : Once you've got one or two files, run on your computer SSH-client and go to a directory on the iPhone  var / stash / Themes. *****  folder and place here lock screen just downloaded in the previous step .

Installing weather.

Step 1 : Go to LS Climacons (light or dark), you just put in var / stash / Themes. ***** , and then open the file in a text editor LockBackground.html using iFile. Or in any text editor on your PC.

Here you will see a line var locale = "53202" - this is the code of your location to read the weather. All you need - to change the code on your own. To find out the code of the city and go to the site weather.com , enter the city name in the search bar to find your code.

Installation help

Step 1 : In the same location as the previously edited LockBackground.html, you'll see a few pictures. One is called LockBackground.png, and this - the same background that you see on the lock screen. By the way, the developers have included the same location a few additional images - LockBackground2 and LockBackground3.

Step 2 : To change the background on your own, create a computer image of size 640 × 1136 pixels, and then place it in a folder lock screen LS Climacons. Next, take out LockBackground.png file to your computer (as a backup), and carried over only own background file name it LockBackground.png.

Activation Tools

Step 1 : Now that you have properly configured the weather and download the required background, open Winterboard. Here, select the «Select Themes», then LS Climacons (Light-Dark-or version, depending on what you downloaded). Make Respring (there in Winterboard).

So, you did it! Set your own themes and lock screen on your i-device on the practice can be a bit more complicated than in theory. But the above instructions have to help you. If possible, explore the file system of your device, just do everything step-by-step, moreover you will be cheerful.
