HTC has officially unveiled in Taiwan revised version of HTC
Butterfly, a model that has been very successful in the Asian market. HTC has
chosen the telecom operator Chunghwa
Telecom as a partner for the
distribution of the device in the market Taiwan and marked the official
introduction of the terminal in the day today.
HTC Butterfly S improves from various points of view, the
previous model, using the technical solutions introduced with the current top
range Android, HTC One. The display remained unchanged compared to HTC
Butterfly and has a diagonal 5" with FullHD resolution (a display for
another already great), but the main novelties are located inside the body and
include:
- Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 to 1.9 GHz (1.7 GHz against HTC One)
- Camera Ultrapixel and dual front speaker Boomsound
- 3200 mAh battery ( 2020 mAh for HTC Butterfly )
- IR Transmitter
The remaining standard equipment includes 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB
of storage with expandable micro SD slot
and 2.1 megapixel front camera
with wide viewing angle.
Featuring quad-band connectivity HSPA / WCDMA , the terminal
uses the operating system Android with custom user interface Sense 5.0 . With
regard to weight and size, the device calculating 144.5 X 70.5 X 10.6mm
and has a weight of 160g.
HTC Butterfly S will be sold in Taiwan from the month of July at a
price equal to $ 22,900 Taiwanese. Also planned distribution to the same period
in other nations in the Asia-Pacific, but are not known at the time, details on
the further expansion of distribution channels.
