Google has sent an email to users of Blogger alerting them
that their site will be removed at the end of the month if you do not delete
all the ads and links to external sites that host adult content. From 30 June
next several blog may close its doors.
The current content policies allow users to post pictures
for adults, videos of nudity and sexual activity, provided that their blog is
categorized appropriately in the settings panel. Google, however, does not
allow users to make money by adult content with advertisements or links that
re-direct to commercial porn sites.
The email sent to administrators listed in Blogger says that
the policy of the contents are going to be updated on June 30, 2013. The
conception is very sharp: it's "strictly forbidden" legitimize
through adult content. After June 30, 2013, must comply with this policy and
will be removed blogs that display advertisements for adult websites.
It is unclear whether a blog that simply offers adult
content share the same fate . The current policy of the content also fails to
define the concept of "adult content". Images that contain nudity or
sexual activities are listed only as an example, creating a bit 'of ambiguity
about what blogs are in danger.
Waiting any further clarification from Google, here is the
content of the email sent to users:
