If the trend will be respected and the habit of updating the
new Apple devices to the processor of the latest generation Intel will
continue, we could enjoy interesting new models in the next generation of
desktop and laptop, thanks to the implementation of the chip Haswell , the "evolution in key
energy savings that do not want to skimp on performance, by Intel.
The company claims that its next-generation chip will offer
50% more time on battery power in portable devices. The main objective,
therefore, is to reduce energy consumption on tablets and laptops, but also
double the graphics performance.
Intel has some of the chip Haswell oriented towards the use
in mobile devices, reducing the power consumption, as low as 7 watts. Previous minimum for Ivy Bridge
chip core was 10 watts.
All this sounds like overly good to be true, but at this
point it is worth waiting for the next WWDC 2013 , where we will enjoy a good
chance of news about it.
