Pentagon next week will approve the use of iOS-devices

U.S. Department of Defense has officially approved the use of Apple mobile devices for the needs of Pentagon employees at the beginning of next week. This was reported by the representative office of Alan Johnson.
All communication systems used by the Pentagon, are tough testing program, and this time it was launched in order to provide staff of the Ministry of access to a wider range of devices, so that everyone can choose the one that best fits his preferences and the work area.

After obtaining the approval of Pentagon officials will be able to apply the technique on the basis of iOS 6.

It should be noted that so far the main supplier of phones for the U.S. Defense Department has been Canada's BlackBerry. Currently, the department has about 470,000 users of devices BlackBerry, 41000 - Apple and 8700 - smartphones and tablets on Android. Operation of most gadgets with iOS and Android are still held in the framework of the pilot or test programs.

Last week, the Ministry has approved the use of mobile devices from Samsung. In particular, the experts rated the secure system Android Knox, created by the Korean company.

Experts believe that now we can expect a sharp rise in competition and struggle for contracts between representatives of the major mobile operating systems.
