The processors Intel Haswell-E will come on the market only
next year, but there are many features revealed about the chip and in general
to the new platform created by the Santa
Clara for the band enthusiast. So, how Haswell-E,
which is assembled with 22-nanometer manufacturing process, integrate up to 8 Core
with Hyper-Threading technology as well as in Quad-Channel Memory DDR4 and X99
chipset.
Just about Core and architecture, some rumors appeared on
the web and taken from techradar.com, reveal how Intel would have endowed this
new family of well-CPU 14 Core, 6 of which, however, would be disabled on the
desktop versions. This means that you might see in server solutions Xeon and 14 Core with the beauty of 28 Thread .
Intel is not new to this kind of solutions and already with
Sandy Bridge-E had disabled two of the eight total cores, certainly for reasons
related to the TDP and frequencies of desktop products. Given the performance
of Haswell on socket LGA 1150, a processor similar on socket LGA 2011 with 14 Core should be a real powerhouse.
