A user on three downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7

Although the debut of Windows 8 took place last October, and now we talk almost exclusively of the future Windows 8.1, the market share of the last Operating System Microsoft is always under the magnifying glass of analysts. Often criticized, especially by the manipulation interface, Windows 8 is, depending on the latest data from Net Applications around 5.4%.

Apart from the numbers on the sales declared by the company in Redmond, it seems that the PC with Windows 8 are just over 88 million. The figure, perhaps not accurate to the thousandth, comes from WinSuperSite.com and in any case confirms that after about a year the overall results are below expectations.

The figures do not coincide with those of the company who said in January that it had sold 60 million license with a monthly increase estimated in 13.5 million copies. Doing the calculations we arrive, according to Microsoft, about 141 million licenses, a significant gap that is explained by the classical phenomenon of the downgrade, it seems that, according to WinSuperSite.com, a user on three passes from Windows 8 in Window 7.

Windows 7 could create the same problems in Microsoft Windows XP, unless the company does not invent something exceptional but we do not think can get with Windows 8.1
