Galaxy Note 8.0: Korean response to the iPad mini, officially presented

Samsung officially presented at the exhibition MWC in Barcelona its new mini-tablet Galaxy Note 8.0, which will be a major competitor to the iPad mini tablet segment with small and medium-sized displays. Novelty has the same appearance as in the previously leaked images, and specifications were similar known.

Galaxy Note 8.0 device equipped with an 8-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and comes with a stylus S Pen, which is also equipped with other devices in the line of Galaxy Note.

Furthermore, this model includes a number of new features that are not present anywhere else. The device has a quad-core Exynos 4 Quad processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz and equipped with a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel on the front. The list of interfaces Galaxy Note 8.0 includes wireless modules WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, and HSPA + 21 (850/900/1900/2100MHz). Novelty was up to 32 GB of memory for data storage, microSD card support, and battery capacity of 4600 mAh.

Galaxy Note 8.0 will be released to market in the II quarter of this year, but the more specific terms and prices not yet known. Model for the global market will include support for cellular communications, while U.S. version is likely to be deprived of it.
